Brian Webb Dance Company

The Brian Webb Dance Company brings contemporary dance shows from all over the country, and the world, to Edmonton. We wanted to do something special to commemorate the company’s 40th annual season. It was important to visually showcase the live performances in a way that reflected the performances themselves: unconventional, loud, and vivacious. We were also tasked with creating promotional material designed to spark an interest in contemporary dance for a younger audience.

We managed to execute this project with a lot of hands-on work, including building and painting the 8’ set. With the help of the amazing team at Daniel Wood Photography, we created a 40th anniversary season that feels as big as what the BWDC brings to the contemporary dance community in Edmonton — something bold, striking, and impossible to ignore.
